Ruben Pauwels

Associate Professor at the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health, Aarhus University

Ruben Pauwels have a background in biomedical sciences and medical physics. He is co-founder and chair of the ‘Dental Imaging’ special interest group (SIG) at EFOMP. He contributed to the European Commission's RP 172 (‘SEDENTEXCT’) guidelines,  the International Atomic Energy Agency's Safety Report on Dental Radiology, ICRP Publication 129 on CBCT, the European Consensus Statement on Patient Shielding, and the upcoming European Commission guidelines on acceptability criteria of medical radiological equipment.
